Although it's an all-electric vehicle, the 2016 Tesla Model X is positioned at the higher end of the luxury market, with a starting price of around $85,000. As such, it requires a well-appointed interior and a range of features and options that are typical for luxury vehicles. While it does meet some of those expectations, the Model X's battery-electric powertrain offers unparalleled smoothness, performance, and advanced technology, which may make up for any perceived missing items, at least for its target buyers.
