About Model S

The 2013 Tesla Model S was named the 2013 Motor Trend Car of the Year, as it revolutionized the electrified approach to vehicle propulsion. When it comes to handling, the Model S is just as impressive as the top midsize sedans from Audi (S6), BMW (5 Series), and Mercedes-Benz (E-Class). While there were technically some 2012 models, the 2013 Tesla Model S is entirely new and remains the only vehicle currently in production by the EV manufacturer. The car's primary controls are located on a massive center-mounted touch screen, which manages vehicle parameters, navigation, air conditioning, ride height, and internet access.
