About Model 3
Despite its futuristic aspirations, the Tesla Model 3 is a fairly conventional-looking four-door sedan that borrows many design elements from its more expensive sibling, the Model S. While the car is immediately recognizable as a Tesla, it is taller and less sporty in appearance. The Model 3's blunt, upturned snout is reminiscent of the original Tesla Roadster and the sealed-up prow of the Model X. It shares styling and technology with its predecessors, including the many pounds of lithium-ion batteries located in the floor. However, there have been concerns regarding the car's assembly quality, particularly regarding the large and inconsistent panel gaps found on some test models.
