The ID.3 electric vehicle exhibits exceptional engineering and an impressive level of refinement. Despite being a rear-wheel-drive vehicle, it does not offer a thrilling driving experience with excessive sliding. Nonetheless, the car's driving is satisfactory and coupled with an abundance of useful technology, it is a thought-provoking ride. Although the Volkswagen Golf has remained a staple in the automaker's lineup, the introduction of the ID.3 and VW's ongoing push towards electric vehicles may lead to the Golf's eventual retirement. With the discontinuation of the e-Golf, the ID brand may ultimately take over and replace the Golf nameplate.
