The improved range of the e-Up now makes it a viable option for low-mileage drivers who are considering switching to an electric vehicle. Its compact size and electric powertrain make it highly practical for urban driving, but it's also capable of handling motorway driving without any issues. However, the price tag of around £20,000 might seem steep for a VW Up, especially when considering that a five-door Up GTI is priced around £15,000, and a new Renault ZOE costs only about £1,500 more and offers a real-world range of around 250 miles.
