It has an estimated range of up to 83 miles or 126/105 mpg-e city/highway and fast-charging technology, allowing it to recharge the battery to 80 percent in 30 minutes. In comparison to its competitors, the e-Golf has one of the best ranges, only being surpassed by the Fiat 500e and the Kia Soul EV, which can go 87 miles and 93 miles on a single charge, respectively. Other competitors such as the Nissan Leaf, Ford Focus Electric, and Mitsubishi i-Miev have less range than the e-Golf at 73 miles, 76 miles, and 62 miles respectively.
